Some people work hard in silence, letting their actions speak for them. Lizbeth Chavez is one of those people. While she would never ask for recognition herself, those who know her see the dedication, resilience, and passion she brings to everything she does.
A proud graduate of Center High School’s Class of 2022, Lizbeth has continued to push herself academically and professionally. She earned her associate degree from Panola College in May 2024 and is now pursuing her Bachelor’s in Human Science with a concentration in Hospitality Administration at Stephen F. Austin State University—where she maintains a stellar 4.0 GPA and has earned a spot on the prestigious President’s List.
Beyond her studies, Lizbeth is an active force in her community. She currently works at the Center Chamber of Commerce, where she balances professional responsibilities with her full-time student workload. If you’ve attended the last two Poultry Festivals, you may have even seen her bringing joy to the event—dressed as a chicken! Her enthusiasm for community engagement is evident in every role she takes on.
Lizbeth’s hard work has not gone unnoticed in her field. She is TexPert Certified and a proud member of Eta Sigma Delta, an international honor society recognizing excellence in hospitality and tourism. With her drive, dedication, and heart for service, there’s no doubt she will continue to make a meaningful impact in the industry and beyond.
While she may not seek the spotlight, Lizbeth Chavez deserves every bit of recognition for her achievements. We’re honored to celebrate her journey and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!
